This Trust of “Srivatsa M.A. TRUST for Mental Health” is the life vision of Mrs. Rangashri Kishore, and Mr. Malur Aji Narayan, with an intent to support programs that help mental illness as part of their social responsibility towards the society, hence this trust.
The Trust has been formed as per the provisions of Indian Trust Act 1982, the Charitable and Religious Trust Act 1920, the foreign contribution and regulation Act (FCRA) 2011 and Income Tax Act 1961.
This Trust is a Public Charitable Trust having no commercial or profit motives and shall be a voluntary organization vested with national interest. The members of this Trust always ensure that all sections of the society who are the beneficiaries in India irrespective of the caste, creed, religion and region of domicile in India are treated with equal justice.
The Trust will be undertaking programs for wellbeing of mental illness and other activities. The aim of the trust is to play an important role in the society as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and channelizing the finances for right resources and projects, which are fully accountable for Public. In this connection, the Trust shall initiate and undertake Projects all over India and be willing to conduct research activities in the relevant fields.
The activities of the trust are to support charitable programs that help patients suffering from mental illness as well as their caregivers and families.
